Information we collect

Cookies aside, this website only collects personal information when you choose to give it to us:

  • Donations. Your name, email address, billing address, the amount and cause you choose and, if you choose Gift Aid, your Gift Aid declaration. Card details are entered on PayPal, Google Pay or Apple Pay and never reach our servers; PayPal tells us your payer email and the transaction reference.
  • WhatsApp. Our website stores nothing when you open the chat. If you start a conversation, you leave our site and WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies; our helpline team sees the messages you send.
  • Security. Like most websites, our servers record IP addresses to protect the site, for example to limit repeated sign-in attempts.

How we use, store and protect this information, and your rights, are explained in our Privacy Notice.

Third-party services

PayPal and Google set and control their own cookies. See PayPal's cookie statement (opens in a new tab) and how Google uses cookies (opens in a new tab).
