Like the smallest injury on your big toe can cause disbalance in your entire body, an illness, a simple pain, no matter how small, can have a great impact on your life as well. The consequences can be devastating if your problem doesn’t receive the necessary treatment.
Many tend to “just live with it”, because “there are many people who go through worse situations”. Although this might be true, it does not change or resolve your discomfort. There are issues that do not have a medical solution and some problems cannot even be diagnosed.
This can negatively affect their day-to-day life and leave them hopeless, desperate for a solution. In some cases, a physical health issue sparks a whole range of mental health issues.
However, prayer has proven to have a positive effect on people, in different areas of their life. It is a way of venting, of processing stress and letting it all out in a way that doesn’t hurt others or oneself. It can help a person adapt a positive mindset and consequently encourage them to take the necessary steps to create a positive lifestyle.
Your health, your wealth. It truly is an important part of your life, so why not invest in it?
At the Universal Church, we strongly believe in the power of prayer and the benefits it brings to those who practise this regularly. We have seen many modern-day examples of this and believe prayer could also benefit you.
For this reason, we invite you to join us at the special meetings on Tuesday’s at your local Universal Church, where we unite our faith and dedicate our time to pray for your health, with the belief that:
“It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones.” (Proverbs 3:8).
Event: Health Day
Date and Time: Tuesdays at 7:30pm (also at 7am, 10am and 3pm)
Location: At your local Universal Church
Please note that Universal Church’s spiritual advice is to be seen as a complement to the scientifically proven treatment you may be receiving. The Universal Church does not claim to heal people but believes that God can through the power of faith. Always follow your doctor’s instructions.
