Saturday, 15th July our volunteers visited a women’s hostel, providing a day of free pampering to those present.

Pleasantly surprised the residents willing took up the offer of being pampered whilst our volunteers gave them a listening ear.

Matilda who oversees the pampering on the day, commented the following: “It was a very nice experience, the residents felt really comfortable around us. The housing manager welcomes us back to do more community outreach activities for the ladies, we look forward to doing more activities with them.”

Jessica who also took part said, “I loved being able to give to the ladies and seeing them smile because of this small gesture it’s just rewarding for me”.

We are sure that this has caused a positive impact on the residents as they were tremendously grateful for the volunteers.
