Winning the Game

Winning the game

In recent news a wife sought advice online after her husband made a confession that turned her life completely around, shattering her self-confidence and trust in him.

He told her he had a ‘work wife’ on a night when he came home drunk and that if he had not been already married, he would marry her.

This stirred up indignation from her supporters who commented on her post saying that they felt uncomfortable by his comment and advised her to leave him.

Her husband responded by saying that he doesn’t believe in emotional affairs and claims he hasn’t crossed any lines with his colleague at work. He later admitted that he and his colleague have held hands and even had a moment when they stared into each other’s eyes the night where they were drunk.

Some may say that he is winning the game he is playing in his marriage by trying to get the best of both women. However, the attendees of this month’s Single’s Hour (a monthly event held by the Universal Church for the singles) would think otherwise.

In order to win the game it is necessary to make choices based on reasoning and not solely how you feel, such as when picking a suitable partner. Many relationships go wrong, right from the very beginning, when singles fail to spot the red flags in a person’s character or behaviour.

At the Love Therapy Seminars, you can learn how to spot these warning signs and avoid making mistakes in your love life, that will lead to consequences you will later regret.

Singles from across the UK gathered in the Rainbow Theatre for ‘Winning the Game’, an event for singles, where they could put everything they have been learning at the seminars into practice.

This event which took place on Thursday was an opportunity for them to meet other singles and potentially find a suitable partner.

To complement the pleasant atmosphere, there was a selection of snacks and juice to choose from, which was being served by the Love Team.

After an hour of games, laughter and friendly interactions, the singles attended the weekly Love Therapy Seminar.

The Love Team are always busy planning events to bless both the singles and the couples, so be sure to stay tuned for future events. We look forward to the next Single’s Hour, which is expected to take place next month.
