How is your life? What is it about your past that still haunts you? What is your insecurity about the future?
In the Bible, when Jacob was at the Ford of Jabbok, he was faced with a moment of decision: to go on with his life or resolve his inner issues once and for all.
There, he chose to empty himself of the lies, of who he was, the memories, the fears and everything else that disturbed him. He sought a new identity (Genesis 32).

This is why in all UCKG HelpCentres, we are living the faith of this great campaign, “The Ford of Jabbok”, the place where Jacob fought this battle.
If you are going through a situation where you find yourself alone, like Jacob in the Ford of Jabbok, or perhaps you find yourself without strength, direction and you don’t know what to do. Take this opportunity to introduce yourself to God, only you can fight this spiritual battle. A piece of advice; Instead of asking ‘why’, change the question to: ‘What do you want me to do Lord?’
Instead of blaming God, doubting His promises and the vows you once made, ask, ‘What does the Lord want me to do?’”
