With every passing year, the world witnesses disasters, conflicts, and chaos that remind us of biblical prophecies. Headlines now feel like they’re being taken directly from the pages of the Holy Bible, specifically Matthew 24, which warns of wars, famines, pestilences, and earthquakes. The question is: are we paying attention, or are we brushing these signs aside as “just another news story”?
The story of Noah in Genesis 6 is one example of a warning about the consequences of ignoring signs. Despite being surrounded by a corrupt generation, Noah remained blameless and obedient, building the ark in preparation for the flood. Others dismissed the warnings until it was too late.
Similarly, today, many dismiss these events as ordinary occurrences. Wars are seen as political conflicts, natural disasters as consequences of climate change, and moral decay as cultural shifts.
Like the days of Noah, the signs are not just another flood, another disaster, or another war—they are warnings of the end. The question is no longer whether we are living in perilous times but how we respond. Will you continue as if nothing is happening, or will you take action?
We invite you to join us on Wednesday, 25 December at 10am for our series, ‘The Warnings of the End,’ where we will explore this topic further. As the Lord Jesus said, “Behold, I am coming quickly” (Revelation 3:11).
Will you be ready when He returns?
To be ready means living a life aligned with God’s Word. The time to act is now—don’t wait to take this vital step.
