your nearest Universal Church,
The Bible describes that God’s people had to take the Promised Land by force. The Hebrews had to conquer from place to place. There were seven nations and more than 30 cities in that region.
On their journey to the Promised Land, the children of Israel were faced with Jericho. Jericho was a strong city, it’s walls were no ordinary walls. It was impassable and heavily fortified, invincible to human eyes. But God was with them and gave them directions on what to do.
‘By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days.’ (Hebrews 11:30)
Week of the falling of walls
That is why at the Rainbow Theatre (7am, 10am, 3pm and 7.30pm) we will take part in the ‘Week of the Falling of Walls’. You can also participate at your nearest Universal Church via (uckg.org/addresses), between 5 and 12 September.
‘There are walls that will only fall by faith. Like the case of Jericho. It’s no use trying otherwise, it’s faith that will make that obstacle, that problem, the illness, the debt, the situation in the marriage, the spiritual situation, the depression, whatever the name of your wall may fall down.
Acting the faith
In the same way for 7 days, the Hebrews surrounded the wall of Jericho. In other words, faith had to be practiced for that problem to be overcome – they had to obey the command of God.
A lot of people nowadays want things to happen without work, without effort, and faith. Faith does not work without an action.
Feast of First fruits
Therefore, on Sunday, 5 September, we will start this journey honouring God. Jericho was the first city and God requested its first fruits to be presented to Him.
Anyone who wants to receive the promises of God has to start by placing Him first. On Sunday 5th September we are going to honour God with our First fruits. You are invited to put God above everything so that you can have the Lord of hosts as the head of your battle.
On the day you will receive an illustration representing the wall of Jericho on paper and you will write down any situation you are facing, to determine that the walls will fall. If you want a miracle in your life then you must do something different. It will be 7 days, and on 12 September will be the day of the falling of all the walls. We’re going to raise a cry out on your behalf and blow the trumpets to put an end to this situation.
So, don’t miss this opportunity and participate. Prepare yourself for this special moment.
