In a heart-warming display of compassion and love, a team of dedicated volunteers from our Universal Church in Liverpool separated time last month to pamper and uplift the spirits of the women in a local shelter.
This thoughtful initiative not only provided essential grooming services, such as free toiletries, nail care and haircuts but also fostered a sense of dignity and self-worth for those who often find themselves forgotten and despised in society.
The volunteers appreciated the opportunity to restore the confidence and self-esteem of the women who were helped and look forward to the next opportunity to give back to their local community.
