outside London branches,
On Saturday 24th June, the UTF (Universal Teen Force) held a Sports Day for teenagers between the ages of 11-14. The event was not limited to North, South, West and East London but it also took place simultaneously in our outside London branches, including Glasgow.
The Event had an amazing turnout of over 300 attendees including parents and volunteers. The agenda was jam-packed with numerous activities and the volunteers that organized the event gave their outmost best to make this moment remarkable for the Teens and Parents.
The event started with a prayer and followed with a warmup dance to get the Teens ready to run and jump.
The activities consisted Egg and Spoon race, of Tug of War, Football, Rounders and even Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes! When the Teens finished the competition amongst themselves…it was now time to compete against the Advisors and Parents! The most awaited game was most assuredly the Water Balloon Fight!
Teens and Advisors had an amazing time with no fear of getting completely soaked in water.
After being extremely active, heathy refreshments were provided. From sandwiches, fruits, drinks, and refreshing ice lollies the teens had some time to catch up with other teenagers and got to know each other better.
It was great to see the smiles on the faces of the teenagers and families that were present. The Feedback has been extremely positive with high hopes of the event happening again very soon! All in all, a huge success.
