Yesterday, at Universal Churches nationwide thousands of members and newcomers participated in the special Sunday morning service.
It was indeed special as Sunday, 9th July marked the 46th anniversary of the Universal Church, and what better gift to give than bringing a soul to the house of God?
Members were encouraged to invite someone to this service for them to have the opportunity to receive guidance and direction from the Word of God.
The Sunday morning service of the Last Chance gave people the opportunity to offload to God what has been bothering them where they were supported in prayer by the Pastors and Assistants.
“Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” (Isaiah 1:18)
This message from the book of Isaiah gave those in attendance the opportunity to start afresh, to confess their wrongs before God and reconcile with Him by participating in the Lord’s Supper of the Last Chance.
What better way to celebrate the anniversary than by giving to others what we have received?
The essence of the Universal Church keeps spreading throughout the world, thanks to the courageous men and women of faith who are willing to give to others what they have received – 46 years and many more to come!
