The world does not pay attention to those who’ve never been through anything.
The world does not listen to those who’ve never been in a battle and overcome.
What merit can be given to a soldier who has never been in a battle?
Paul said:
…I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus. Galatians 6.17
The faith Paul possessed healed him from the wounds caused by tribulations, distress, persecutions, famine, nakedness, perils and sword. (Romans 8.35)
His scars were a testimony that, being with the Lord Jesus, all the suffering we endure is fleeting and, in the end, we will overcome everything.
For those who maintain an intelligent faith and persevere, the wounds of today will be the scars (their testimonies) of tomorrow.
