If there’s one thing people search for in life is peace.
The meaning of the word peace is freedom from disturbance; tranquillity, but could that be the only meaning for peace?
Many people indeed believe that peace is the absence of problems, in having their dreams and plans fulfilled, and so they end up frustrated when they realise that this peace doesn’t last very long.
Few are those who know where to find permanent peace, one that comes from within and remains regardless of circumstances. One that enables you to put your head on the pillow at night and sleep because you know all will work out.
This is the peace that God promises to give you.
“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you.” (John 14.27)
