On Monday 10th July, the Tour of Faith and Miracles took place in our Universal Church in Nottingham. It was a memorable evening, receiving many people for the first time.
The meeting was held by Bishop James, who oversees the work of the church in the UK. He was welcomed by 130 people who were present on the night and 39 were first timers or returning members.
It was an opportunity for all who were present, not only to receive a prayer of deliverance but also a word of faith to empower and guide them.
The main message was that in order to receive salvation you must first decide to turn away from choices and habits that displease God (Ezekiel 33:11).
God never despises or turns away anyone who decides to give their past to Him, no matter how bad their choices may have been. Furthermore, the attendees learnt that God is willing to give His Spirit to all who surrender 100% of their lives to Him – their minds, personal objectives, past and future.
Bishop invited all those who were ready to turn away from their past mistakes to make a prayer of surrender to God.
Naomi Vincent, an Assistant of the church explained that, “the atmosphere was incredible and it was amazing to see so many new people witnessing the power of God for the first time!”
The night could not end without the moment dedicated to seeking the Holy Spirit, which was a memorable experience for everyone.
It was a powerful event, both for longstanding and new members. Those who came for the first time look forward to returning to the church.
The next stop on this tour will be in our Universal Church in Plymouth. If you or someone you know lives in Plymouth or the surrounding areas, save this date as this highly anticipated event will be remarkable and is sure to make a great impact in the lives of all who will be present! We will see you there!
