Take a moment and think back to a time when you walked closely with God. Think about the peace and purpose that enveloped you in His presence—the joy of actively participating in meetings, and the fulfilment of engaging in church activities.
For some, this journey has led to a gradual disconnect from God, even without physically leaving the church. They still find themselves there each Sunday, yet feel distant, almost lost, within the very walls of God’s house. This feeling of separation (of being far from God despite physical presence) is more common than you might think…and perhaps you find yourself in this very spot.
Perhaps the joy of praying, worshipping, and obeying His ways has been drowned and replaced by life’s challenges and you are left feeling distant. You want to come back but wonder, ‘Will God take me back?’ The short answer is, YES! and “The Sunday of Reconciliation” is a special opportunity to come back home and renew and rebuild your communion with your Father in heaven.
“…Return to Me, and I will return to you, says the Lord of hosts…” (Malachi 3:7)
He is waiting for you!
