Have you been experiencing shame, contempt, or humiliation? Perhaps there is an unresolved issue in your life, a wound that never seems to heal and periodically resurfaces, reminding you of something you have not yet overcome.
In the Bible, we find two characters who illustrate the pain of an unresolved problem, but also exemplify the kind of faith that is answered by God:
Yet, in both cases, God provided for them, and those painful wounds were eventually healed:
“And Sarah said, “God has made me laugh, and all who hear will laugh with me.” She also said, “Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? For I have borne him a son in his old age.”” (Genesis 21:6-7 NKJV)
“And Hannah prayed and said: “My heart rejoices in the Lord; My horn is exalted in the Lord. I smile at my enemies, Because I rejoice in Your salvation” (1 Samuel 2:1 NKJV)
A special moment of faith will take place in all our Universal Churches across the UK, in this faith – that God’s exaltation may also take place in your life. We encourage you to participate and bring your situation before the Altar of God this Sunday 10am (also at 7:30am) at your local Universal Church.
We will see you there!
