As November begins, it brings “The Month of the Sacred.” But what does it mean for something to be sacred? According to the Cambridge Dictionary “sacred” means something holy and deserving of respect. Throughout this month, we will take time to reflect on what it means to live a life of holiness and reverence.
Being sacred goes beyond mere ritual; it signifies a profound respect for things that hold divine significance. Therefore, we will explore ten of the most sacred aspects of life.
Though November is set aside as a month to focus on these sacred aspects, living a life of holiness should extend far beyond just these 30 days. The call to holiness is a continual journey. As it is written in Hebrews 12:14, “Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.”
Join us at a Universal Church near you as we explore this topic further. Discover how living a life of holiness draws you closer to God, as holiness involves sanctifying God in all that we do and reflecting His character. As we continue on this path of faith, let us strive to uphold what is sacred and live in a way that glorifies God’s name.
