the Holy Spirit,
A father takes pride in being able to provide for his children. He’d hate to see his kids wanting and so, goes out of his way to make sure that his home isn’t lacking. God feels the same towards His children.
“If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? […] If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!” (Luke 11:11-13)
If a father has such great care and love for his child, how much more does God have towards you?
As a Father, He wants the best for His Children and the greatest Gift that He longs to give His children is the Holy Spirit— a personal relationship with Him.
It doesn’t matter the mistakes you have made, if you want to wipe the slate clean and start afresh then God is willing to accept you and give the best of what He has the – Holy Spirit.
The best demonstration of love is to give! That’s why this Sunday at 10am (also at 7.30am) in all our Universal Churches we will serve ‘The Lord’s Supper of the Father’, for you that want to have true communion with the Father.
