e blessed in your home.,
In light of the recent directions from the government, the UCKG HelpCentre is wholeheartedly doing all that it can to support everyone during the pandemic. We have restructured our church meetings with immediate effect from Thursday, 5 November, to only take place online until 2 December.
Every opportunity to take part of the Lord’s Supper – a ceremony that Jesus initiated – is special. It is a call to repentance and forgiveness. It is a chance to have a clean slate, to start afresh. The Lord Jesus knows that we are not perfect and that we are prone to make mistakes. He gave us this incredible moment to renew and strengthen our covenant with Him.
It does not matter whether you take part in a church building or within the four walls of your home. What matters is how you take part. Even if you eat the bread and drink the grape juice alone, what God sees and honours are your intentions. You can be blessed in your home.
This will be the case on Sunday, 8 November. Following the announcement of the upcoming lockdown on Thursday, 5 November, we will all take part of the Lord’s Supper at home whilst participating in the online morning service.
Prepare bread and grape juice, but most of all, prepare yourself. Choose to leave behind sins and transgressions that are displeasing to God, so that you can have a clean slate with Him. With all that is going on in the world, we need to ensure that we are sure of who we are before God.
Join us online on Sunday at 10am. For more information, call or send a WhatsApp message to 020 7686 6000.
