The Universal church not only has initiatives catered to meet the needs of adults, the Children’s Biblical Centre (CBC) is a group that offers support and activities to promote the healthy development of children.
On Sunday 16 April, we had a special dedication of the children, educators and the work they do to God in all of our Universal Churches during the 10am service. The work of the CBC is greatly appreciated by the parents, and many testify that they have noticed a positive change in their children’s behaviour at home.
Our DBS checked educators and helpers prepare weekly lessons for the children, based on teachings and principles from the Bible. The children are taught how to demonstrate obedience towards their parents, encouraged to treat others fairly and to give their best at school. The CBC is also a great place for children to build good relationships with their peers and to develop social skills.
However, the work of the CBC does not only benefit the children now, it also sets them on the right path for the future. The CBC is designed to protect children from making wrongful choices as they grow into happy and successful young people.
