Baptism with the Holy Spirit, Christ, Christianity, Christmas, God, God the Father, Holy Spirit, Jesus, John the Baptist, receive the Holy Spirit, the Name of Jesus Christ,
May the Lord God Almighty be with each one of you and your family and, may this day be filled with His presence.
I would like to share a tip with those who are seeking to receive the Holy Spirit, and this is: SINCERE REPENTANCE.
Sincere repentance involves the following steps of sacrifice:
Note that repentance has nothing to do with remorse. Repentance has everything to do with reason, while remorse is linked to emotion. No one is forgiven based on their feelings. Besides, there is no sacrifice when it comes to remorse.
John the Baptist preached a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins (Luke 3:3).
Peter gave us the recipe for salvation: Repent, and let every one of you be baptised in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. It is of no use in getting baptised in water without sincere repentance.
Unfortunately, most people think that being baptised in water is enough to receive the Holy Spirit. No! Before being baptised in water, there has to be a sincere repentance. Only after this happens should you be baptised in water then, naturally, comes the baptism with the Holy Spirit.
Follow this recipe and the Lord Jesus will baptise you with His Spirit.
