Who likes the expression “little by little”?
Most people like to achieve good results all at once, but with God, it’s not like that.
It was God Himself who said to His people in the desert that they would gradually conquer the Promised Land. In other words, God said that the process would happen little by little.
Like a foetus that takes 9 months to be born and slowly develops into an infant and eventually an adolescent, the steps take place little by little.
This is why, one of the worst enemies of faith is hastiness. A person, who wishes to build their life on the principles of faith must be willing to remain focused even when it seems like the results are taking long.
You have to be careful to continue pursuing your goals correctly, even when you see others taking “shortcuts” by deceiving, lying or tricking their way towards higher positions.
