Nine is a significant number in the Bible since it is associated with finality or completeness.
On various occasions this number was used in the Bible and would often indicate the end of a cycle or era.
“And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” which is translated, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” (Mark 15:34). This signified Jesus completing the mission of His sacrifice on the Cross which took place on the ninth hour.
There are nine fruits of the Spirit of God…“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control…” (Galatians 5:22-23).
“About the ninth hour of the day he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God coming in and saying to him, “Cornelius!” (Acts 10:3). The ninth hour was when Cornelius had an encounter that would change the trajectory of his life.
What does this have to do with you and how can the number nine be significant in your life today?
Sunday, 30th July we will begin our purpose of faith for nine Sundays called the Powerful Novena for Healing and Miracles. As nine represents wholeness/completion we will declare this wholeness in your life through the power of faith.
What do you long to see take place in your life? A turnaround in your finances, family reunited, restoration in your spiritual life, breaking free from a negative habit, etc.
If this has appeared to be impossible for you to achieve, these nine Sundays will empower you to claim what you longed to witness through the power of faith in the Word of God.
You can participate in this purpose of faith by visiting one of our local Universal Churches where a Chain of Prayer card will be on hand for you so that you can track your progress.
