do something different,
Eating a healthy, balanced diet is an important part of maintaining good health, and can help you feel your best that is why the Patience Care Group (PCG) will be hosting Healthy Eating Month in June.
The PCG is made up of volunteers who have previously organised passed health events such as “Know Their Numbers” in support of Blood Pressure Awareness Week. They have held seminars on diabetes and sickle cell, amongst other diseases, and worked with the Caleb group to encourage better health for the elderly in our communities.
This month of June, the PCG will challenge people to think about their current eating habits and whether these are good for them or not. We know it may be challenging with the cost of living having to consider the PCG will also introduce the Cut and Swap challenge.
This challenge will help participants think about their dietary habits and give tips on how to do something different that will benefit them this month and beyond regardless of this barrier.
Would you like to participate in the healthy eating month? If you are ready to be challenged and change your eating habits for the best then this is for you.
For further updates on how to participate, you can follow the UCKG outreach group on Facebook and Instagram.
