Parents and Children Meeting

a special message, family, leisure time, promote family unity, protects us on rainy days,

 

On the best days of our lives, during tearful moments, in achievements, in sorrows, or any other significant moment, our families are those we want support from. There are times when we do not value them or give them the support they deserve!

They are like a waterproof jacket that protects us on rainy days, trying to shield us from any pain, a waterproof covering that works as a shelter, refuge and protection. That’s FAMILY! However, this word has increasingly come to mean discord, disagreement, lack of dialogue and separation, and we forget how important family is to our welfare and inner balance.

The purpose of the Parents and Children meetings is to promote family unity through dialogue and leisure time together and learning to understand each other.

The lack of unity within a family is so harmful that many acquire diseases, lose professional prospects and become depressed. The joy of living gives way to discouragement, frustration, loneliness and lack of support from those who are supposed to love us unconditionally. It is impossible to be happy when there is a lack of harmony in the family.

After all, even if we are successful, what good is it if we don’t have someone to share the joys of victory and success with?

For 7 weeks, we had the Parents and Children meeting every Sunday at 6pm, where Bishop Randal Brito will give a special message.

It doesn’t cost anything to pray but it could make a big difference.
