reconnect to God,
We know the story but have we been a Good Samaritan?
The Samaritan, from whom nothing was expected, demonstrated extraordinary conduct by voluntarily helping the wounded Jew.
He had no regard that the injured individual was a stranger, he simply expressed love and care through his actions by bandaging his wounds and paying the innkeeper to look after him.
This action clearly displays God’s commandments which are absolutely applicable today, by expressing kindness, justice and mercy towards our neighbors we are mirroring God’s actions towards us.
Have you been a Good Samaritan?
This Wednesday at your local Universal Church we invite you to be this Good Samaritan. Knowing the truth is important but sharing this truth with others is just as important.
Maybe you have allowed the hustle and bustle of life to disconnect you from your responsibility of helping others. Here is an opportunity for you to reconnect to God and thereby connect to those who need help.
Event: Night of the Good Samaritan
Date and Time: Wednesday, 22 March at 7.30pm (also at 7am, 10am and 3pm)
Location: Taking place at your local Universal Church
