On Thursday, 5th December attendees gathered eagerly at the headquarters in Finsbury Park for a special Love Therapy seminar. This meeting was led by Bishop Miguel and his wife, who oversee the work of the Universal Church in Israel, it began at 8pm and was broadcast via conference to other locations outside London.
Opening the seminar, Bishop Miguel acknowledged the challenges some participants might have faced, saying, “There may be people here who have a bad love story to tell. But up until tonight—because from tonight, God will make everything new.”
He invited those weighed down by past pain, sorrow, or mistakes to come before the Altar. As he led the prayer, attendees were encouraged to lay down all their troubles, leaving behind guilt and regret to embrace God’s promise of a fresh start.
Bishop Miguel emphasised the importance of letting go of the past:
“God made us with eyes to look forward, not backward. Your past has nothing new to tell you. Every time it calls, don’t answer. Instead, hold on to Jesus’ promise: ‘…Behold, I am making all things new…’” (Revelation 21:5)
He urged attendees to stop making decisions based on emotions or past experiences, reminding them that the heart often leads to regret. Instead, decisions should be intelligent by using our faith and trusting in God’s Word.
Highlighting the significance of love life, Bishop Miguel explained:
“After our spiritual life, love life is one of the most important areas in our lives. It is God’s plan for us to endure life’s challenges and remain strong. Marriage is God’s creation to ensure we never face problems alone—He provides a spouse to uplift, strengthen, and encourage us.”
He warned against worldly distractions that lead people away from God’s original plan for love and marriage, advising attendees to align their love lives with God’s will.
As the seminar concluded, participants left with renewed faith and hope, ready to embrace a new chapter in their lives.
