become children of God, become empowered by God to become His child, Bible, Christ, Everlasting life, God, Jesus, Kingship and kingdom of God, Lord Jesus Christ, the whole Bible, Work of God,
“How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him…” (Hebrews 2:3)
Salvation is the work of God to deliver fallen men from the consequences of sin: suffering, sickness, eternal condemnation and separation from God.
However, there are people who do not believe in everlasting life or death, simply because they’re still alive.
After using my reasoning and seeing the Word of God fulfilled in my mother and daughter’s life, I believed that it was and is the truth. So why should I refuse to believe the Bible when it speaks about heaven and hell? It only makes sense to believe in the whole Bible or none of it at all.
Jesus became our escape from hell and from the lake of fire and brimstone.
In Romans 5:12, we can find the reason why we need to be saved: “Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned.”
When someone very dear to you passes away, you feel a sense of loss. Human beings will never be familiar with death because God did not create us to die. When sin (disobedience) entered this world, life was cut short, thus the reason why salvation is now on offer through the Lord Jesus Christ.
When you love Him, you choose to fight for salvation and live with Him forever.
“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” (John 1:12,13)
When you receive Jesus and His teachings and practise them, you become empowered by God to become His child.
You are no longer the same. Now you live your life for Jesus.
God bless you.
