The Biblical Parable of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15) tells the story of a young man who decided to explore the world and seek happiness by fulfilling his heart’s desires. However, he found that this path left him unfulfilled. After enduring much suffering, he decided to return to his father, finally finding forgiveness and love.
Similarly, many people today feel lost and face countless obstacles on their journey back to God. This might resonate with you. Perhaps you remember when you used to attend the church and how His peace would embrace you as you prayed before the altar. Perhaps now, you are experiencing the bitter taste of being distant from the Father but feel guilty about something that happened or simply lacking the strength to follow the steps of the prodigal son and return.
If this is the case, know that there is an unmissable opportunity ahead of you. This Sunday, 29 September at 10am, we will have a special meeting at the Universal Church. “The Feast of Return” will be dedicated especially to those who wish to return to the presence of God. No matter what has happened, know that God is waiting with open arms, ready to give you a chance to exchange an unfulfilled life for a new and complete one with Him.
Don’t miss this chance of walking with God again! Join us at your nearest Universal Church. If you need to speak to someone before Sunday, we are here for you. Call our 24-hour Helpline on 020 7686 6000 or send a WhatsApp message to 020 7686 6010 for spiritual support.
