At the end of October, severe rains and devastating floods struck Spain, especially impacting the city of Valencia, the nation’s third-largest. The disaster, described as the “Flood of the Century,” has been Spain’s worst meteorological catastrophe since October 1973, leaving hundreds dead and thousands without homes.
In the midst of the destruction, a scene shared by the local Universal Church captured significant attention: Bibles found intact within a house that had been completely submerged in Valencia.
The homeowner was astonished. Despite her home being flooded almost to the ceiling, with mud marks showing the high water level, the Bibles—faith editions with personal commentary by Bishop Macedo—were discovered atop her bed, undamaged by the water that destroyed everything else. This event, inexplicable by human standards, shows that God continues to send signs that the end is near, yet His Word does not change, and He is waiting for those who seek Him while there is still time.
