Even though we might not hear so much about it nowadays, the situation in Ukraine remains dire due to ongoing hostilities since February 2022. As a result, the country has seen an increase in humanitarian needs.
The members of the Universal Church in the UK are organising another humanitarian donation to help people who are being affected by the war.
The compassion and love of those who have already donated in this initiative has resulted in 50 tonnes of humanitarian aid so far.
Our church in Ukraine is operating as a food bank and has already helped thousands of people in need, from various ages, backgrounds and beliefs. Everyone is welcome to receive this help!
We believe in the importance of giving to someone who is in need, no matter who they are, based on the teachings found in the Word of God:
“I have shown you in every way, by labouring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.” (Acts 20:35 NKJV)
This blessing is greater than material prosperity, it is the inner reward that comes from the Most High, who is pleased with those who give.
This will be our 4th support effort and we would like to count on your generosity once again to help us continue meeting the needs of the people in Ukraine.
If you’d like to be a part of this great work, you can make a donation of non-perishable goods at your local Universal Church, with a special emphasis on tinned foods and pasta. Those who wish to make a food donation are encouraged to bring it before the end of the month of March, so that the food can be packed up on time.
The donations will then be transported to our dedicated hub set up in Kyiv and distributed to those who need it the most.
Although you may never meet the beneficiaries of your kindness and support, you can be sure that your efforts will make a great and positive impact on the lives of individuals and families in need in Ukraine.
