Everyone is happy when their business prospers, sales happen and their finances are going well. But what happens when everything goes wrong and there are no signs of change?
Even in those moments, those who are in faith do not despair or give up fighting. Instead, they overcome their anxieties and believe that in God’s time His promises will be fulfilled.
Mature faith leads a person to stand firm even amid difficulties. After all, their expectations and trust are not in men or in what is material, but in God.
In simple, faith and trust in the Word of God makes you face problems with joy, because you know Who is fighting your battles with you.
It is in Him and His Word that you must seek your strength and base your life and decisions on.
His Word says:
“Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength (…)” (Habakkuk 3:18-19 NKJV)
This means, that a person who relies on God’s strength, no matter what happens, is well. This is because they are supported not by their circumstances but by God, who sustains them.
Even when negative words, thoughts or news come, they won’t give up because they are stronger than their worries.
The Word of God generates courage, strength and faith in a person and never returns to Him void (Isaiah 55:11 NKV).
