According to society, if you seek knowledge, you will find it by turning to Google, an encyclopedia or a library, but Divine wisdom can only be found in the Word of God.
The book of Proverbs is an excellent place to start, if you want to receive wisdom and direction for every area of your life. Written by Solomon, it is a collection of advices that when followed, will enrich your life.
In Proverbs 1:7 it says:
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction (…)”.
Anyone who desires to be wise has to start with the fear of the Lord, which means having reverence for Him and not doing what the majority do, which is to be indifferent towards Him.
If you go to the Source of intelligence, you will naturally start to get smarter. However, it seems that all humanity study creation, whilst ignoring the Mind behind it.
Those who despise a relationship with God, can sometimes even achieve some kind of success, but they are generally very limited because they lack the wisdom necessary to establish prosperity, which comes with having the fear of the Lord.
