Prison inmates are often seen as society’s failures; people who can be set aside and forgotten or who are feared, condemned and despised for the wrong that they did. The UCKG HelpCentre holds a different opinion, believing that no one is beyond help, and has acted on that view by establishing the Rescue of Dignity Group (ROD). These are volunteers who support prisoners and their families.
They correspond through letters and regular visits helping inmates to make positive changes in their behaviour and attitude while in prison.
