“For How Long, God?”

For how long God

Many people, when faced with several problems and setbacks, keep asking this question repeatedly. We all want to live a complete life, and when a problem arises, the feeling that something is missing can become even more evident. However, the truth is that the answer we expect from God does not depend exclusively on Him.

Conquering your own home, having a good relationship, being healthy and successful, building a family… Which of these things would you say are missing from your life? Perhaps your list includes achieving a great blessing or filling the void that consumes you.

The Bible shows examples of people who faced adversities and felt incomplete, but when they presented their situation to God and got His attention, they allowed themselves to be guided by Him and received their answer. One such example was Abraham, who wanted to have a child.

By remaining faithful to his barren wife, Abraham attracted God’s attention, and by listening to God’s voice and obeying His directions, he became the father of a great nation (see Genesis 12).

Another example is Hannah, who was also barren. Although she knew God and visited His Temple annually, her faith was emotional and religious. However, when she decided to make a sincere vow to God, He answered her and she gave birth to Samuel, one of the most influential prophets in history (See 1 Samuel 1-2).

The fulfilment of God’s promises in our lives depends solely and exclusively on us, especially regarding our salvation. God’s greatest promise is His Spirit to lead us to His Kingdom. The Holy Spirit is like an inner fire, giving us strength to face our battles. Therefore, the baptism with the Holy Spirit must be a priority before any material achievement.

We are in the final stretch to the Campaign of Israel, but there is still time for you to hear the voice of God, believe in His Word and obey Him so that you can achieve a complete transformation by faith.
