a God of reaction,
Who hasn’t cried before? We have all done it, especially in moments when we were in pain or felt a deep sadness. Maybe you have shed more tears than you could possibly count.
“You number my wanderings; put my tears into Your bottle; are they not in Your book?” (Psalm 56:8)
God sees our tears and He knows the reason why we cry. He is not blind to the tears that we shed. But you may be wondering, “Why doesn’t He wipe them away?”
He wants to, and He will.
This Sunday, we are going to bring to Him our pains, sorrows and our tears, asking Him to wipe them away and to help us. God is a God of reaction; He only reacts to the actions that we take, so if we do not first approach Him, He is unable to help us.
This is why we must apply faith, so that through this powerful tool, we may experience the fulfilment of His word in our lives. Therefore, we will show our faith when we bring our tears to Him.
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” (Matthew 5:4)
Use a tissue to dry your tears this week and on Sunday, we will present that tissue to God, believing that He will bring an end to the problems that are causing us to cry. And we shall be comforted.
