On Saturday, 5 April, streets across the UK came alive with colour, music and contagious enthusiasm as hundreds of people marched throughout the country to promote the upcoming Life Shift event, set to take place on Easter Sunday. The march was a vibrant celebration of hope and transformation.
Carrying orange, black and white balloons and waving banners, volunteers from all walks of life shared a message of joy and encouragement as they walked, sharing their excitement about the event. They danced and sang their way through city streets with bright smiles, turning heads and lighting up the atmosphere along the route. The main goal was simple yet profound: to invite everyone to experience a genuine Life Shift through faith.
In London, the march began at the Cathedral of Miracles in Finsbury Park and made its way to Highbury and Islington station, creating a wave of positivity in the busy streets. Passers-by stopped to talk with volunteers, curious about the purpose of this life-changing event, while drivers honked in support of the marchers.
Similar marches organised by local branches of the Universal Church unfolded in other cities across the UK to convey the same message. In every location, the response was warm and inviting, with the public engaging in conversation, accepting invitations, taking photos and recording videos.
At its core, the Life Shift event is about transformation. It’s an opportunity for people to experience a new beginning and reconnect with a deeper sense of purpose through faith. The event will take place this Easter Sunday at all Universal Churches across the UK, including our headquarters in Finsbury Park. Click here for more details.
As the Easter weekend approaches, the invitation remains open to everyone. If you saw the march and felt a spark of inspiration or curiosity, we invite you to be part of something special this Easter Sunday. Come as you are and discover the hope, joy and transformation that faith can bring!
