Have you anointed your head today? The Bible instructs us: “…Let your head lack no oil.” (Ecclesiastes 9:8). In the same way we, at the Universal Church, are taking part in a purpose that consists of daily anointing with the Blessed Oil until the end of the year. The book of Ecclesiastes also teaches us that “The end of a thing is better than its beginning.” (Chapter 7, verse 8). Based on this promise, we will determine that the end of the year will be better than its beginning. This purpose aims to combine faith with persistence.
Just as in Biblical times, the Blessed Oil serves as a point of contact between God and human beings. Through the simple act of anointing our heads, we demonstrate our faith in God in a practical way. Although the oil itself holds no power, this action of faith could provoke the extraordinary in one’s life.
Alongside your daily anointing with the Blessed Oil, we invite you to come along to the House of the Lord to seek His presence and power.
“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” (Psalm 23:6).
