The overwhelming burden of lingering debt that causes you to constantly dip into your overdraft. Paying the bills has become a never-ending struggle, it’s as if you’re working merely to survive rather than to thrive.
You may have expected to have made more progress by now, but it feels as though an invisible barrier is holding you back, stopping you from moving forward. No matter how hard you work, you can’t seem to get past this point. Your life is compared to the words from the Bible verse, in Haggai 1:6-8: “You have sown much, and bring in little; You eat, but do not have enough; You drink, but you are not filled with drink; You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; And he who earns wages, earns wages to put into a bag with holes.”
It’s easy to feel trapped in this cycle, but there is hope. Only one power can break the barrier that seems to suppress you, and that power is faith. The moment you put faith into action, limitations will start to fade.
It won’t be an easy journey, but your difficulties can become the fuel for your faith. Those who have a true alliance with God understand that there are no limits to what He can do. In the book of Joel, God promises:
“So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, my great army which I sent among you. You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you; and My people shall never be put to shame” (Joel 2:25-26).
