Serving those who most need our care and attention is what drives us, that’s why our community groups are always looking for new ways to cater for the local community.
With various projects and events, tailored to suit a variety of people of different ages, backgrounds and life experiences, we aim to show love to even the most despised individuals in society.
The volunteers at the Universal Church take part in this great work with joy, as they believe in the Word of God, which encourages us to do good to others:
“But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.” (Hebrews 13:16 NKJV)
Last Tuesday a group of our volunteers in Swindon paid a special visit to the Kings Court Home and attended their monthly Coffee Morning, bringing treats and warmth to both the staff and the residents.
What a joyful morning it was, full of chatter and smiles. It is always lovely to appreciate and spend time with our elderly community.
