Bible, Bible story, Bible study (Christian), blaming God, Christ, God, God is a provider, God knows, Holy Spirit, Jesus, Kingship and kingdom of God, Moses, Resurrection of Jesus,
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7)
Jesus said that if you don’t ask, you will not receive. The biggest mistake religious people make is believing that God is a provider, and that He will provide as long as you are charitable and giving; that it comes naturally.
But that is not true. In the Bible, we see that God needs our co-operation for everything that He does here on earth.
Even though God knows what we need, we have to ask because He also needs our permission. He doesn’t do anything in our lives without it, and we give it to Him when we ask and pray. None of God’s other creations have the power that mankind has.
When Moses sent the 12 spies to spy out the land they were about to take as a spiritual inheritance, they came back with a negative report. The hearts of all those who heard melted out of fear.
They had a sense that all they had done was in vain and they started blaming God. They thought that everything would be ready for them. You need to conquer what God wants to give to you, so that you give value to it. Be specific with your requests.
God bless you.
