Taking part of the Lord’s Supper has many benefits, some of which include reconciliation and being renewed.
“Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.” (John 6:53)
The Lord’s Supper represents the Lord Jesus Himself; therefore, when we take part in it sincerely, we are accepting Him into our lives. The Bible says that He is the way, the truth and the life, and the verse above reinforces that unless we take part in this ceremony, we have no life in us.
Jesus is the only One who can give us true life.
During Faith School on Wednesday 27 January, you will be able to deepen your understanding of God’s word, seek His presence, and also take part of the Lord’s Supper to receive life from the Life-Giver.
