A Walk in the Park Challenge

“I don’t have time to exercise” sounds familiar, amongst many things we make time for often exercising isn’t one of them yet it’s very important.

There are many benefits to exercising, but here are a few listed below:

  • Improve your memory and brain function (all age groups).
  • Protect against many chronic diseases.
  • Aid in weight management.
  • Lower blood pressure and improve heart health.
  • Improve your quality of sleep.
  • Combat cancer-related fatigue.

Many tend to put off exercising since they think it involves an arduous workout, however this month in July the Patient Care group is challenging you for a walk in the park, yes, It’s that simple.

Using the free version of Strava app will record your step count and will accurately track your walk, measuring factors such as your distance and speed.
