Family is the foundational unit of society. It is made up of the people who are always with us and whom we will spend the rest of our lives with. Family was created to stick together no matter what happens.
However, in this unsteady world, we often feel as though we have no control over our loved ones, what they do, where they go, and the people they choose to be around. Due to internal conflicts because of personal problems, many people have given up hope of having a happy family because of the difficult circumstances they see their loved ones facing.
Nevertheless, did you know that you and your family can be protected from further harm, separation, fights, hurtful words that cannot be taken back once said and instead, experience harmony and happiness?
Countless people would say that this is unrealistic, but with God’s protection, it is highly possible. Although, there are many things we have no control over, we certainly can control how we decide to spend our time with them and the thoughts we choose to have towards them. Above all, we have the power to place them in God’s hands for Him to take care of and protect them from the turmoil of this world.
If you could go everywhere with them, keep your eyes on them 24/7, or be able to physically remove the burden which may be upon their shoulders, you would. Unfortunately, we cannot always be there to protect them, which is why we must always surrender their lives into God’s hands.
The Bible says, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” (Psalm 91:1 NKJV)
Prayer is often underestimated, but a sincere prayer for your family can ease tension, bring lasting happiness, and protect your home. It can help you and the rest of your family become more patient, kind, forgiving, and make it a safe haven.
That is why this Sunday 15 October, we will be holding a meeting where you will be able to ask God to protect your family from destruction. This meeting will also help you identify the common problems families face and how you can safeguard your loved ones from them.
No matter what the situation you and your family may be facing, you can all experience a great change for the better! You are invited to bring the names or a picture of your family and during the prayer of protection, you will have the opportunity to present them to God. There is no better place to be than under His shelter.
