faithfulness to God, placing God first,
What does it mean to put God first?
It’s so much more than attending church services, but acknowledging Him in all that you set out to do. That’s why the tithe was created as a means to acknowledge God. It’s, in other words saying “God, you are first and I’m second”.
The tithe is the first 10% of your gross income, it’s the morning prayer that you make before touching your phone or speaking to anyone, it’s giving God thanks for the food He has provided before you enjoy it, it’s asking God for His guidance and direction for your love life, family and financial decisions.
It’s so much more than 10%. The tithe represents you placing God first in all matters.
In the Bible, you will note the example of King David, who put God first in his life. He said the following:
“I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.” (Psalms 16:8)
David was a man after God’s own heart, one who achieved many challenges and battles because he put God first. This is the secret of having a successful life – putting God first, not just with words but with your actions.
If you want to learn how to be successful by placing God first in your life, then we invite you to participate in the Sunday morning service at 10am (also at 7.30am) where you will be taught how to.
On this day, the faithful tithers will have the opportunity to present their faithfulness to God.
Please note that being a tither is a personal decision between you and God, and everyone is welcome to join our services, whether they have already made this decision or not.
