Do you remember the way your life was when you were in the presence of God? How did it feel to participate in meetings and activities in the church?
Perhaps you didn’t stop attending meetings in person, but your life has become detached from God’s ways, and you now may feel lost even in the house of God (Luke 15:8-10).
Do you remember the days you were in the first love?
In the Night of the Soul, this Wednesday, we will have the ‘Lord’s Supper of Reconciliation.’ You who are seeking reconciliation with God must remember and understand that God is not looking for those who think they are perfect or righteous. ‘The Lord’s Supper of Reconciliation’ is for those who realise that they have sinned, and no matter what difficulties they have faced, God is looking for those who admit that they are sinners to show them mercy and acceptance.
You are invited to write down what you need to remove from your life to reconcile back to God and bring it with you this Wednesday. You will put your sin of separation from God in the past and leave it on the Altar and take part in the Lord’s Supper. It will be a trade, you will sacrifice your life for the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus.
Make the most of God’s invitation by returning to the Father’s arms while there is still time. He is waiting for you!
