In 2015, the Universal Church set out to establish another one of its locations in England. This time, it was in Liverpool.
While the search was underway, services were held in various conference centres and hotel rooms. Oftentimes, the rooms were not organised, and in some circumstances, the doors would be locked, meaning that the only option was for the meetings to be held outside.
The lack of a permanent location was tough on the members. The nearest Universal Church in Manchester was also not necessarily affordable for everyone to attend as an alternative.
After a number of failed negotiations, the Universal Church has now secured a permanent place for hopefully the first of many locations in Liverpool!
The UCKG HelpCentre is established to advance the Christian faith by words and deeds. Our full-time HelpCentres are open seven days a week, offering free services which include: one-to-one spiritual advice sessions; 24-hour helpline; life coaching and relationship guidance; personal attention to crisis in homes, hospitals or prisons and a learning Training Centre. Now more people can be reached in the city. But we need your help!
This new Liverpool location needs some refurbishment work in order to make it comfortable and suitable for those who will walk through its doors.
