Breaking the Habit’, HelpCentre in Glasgow,
The UCKG HelpCentre in Glasgow is responding to Scotland’s new tier four restrictions by adding a further Sunday service of prayer to its calendar from now until 11 December. Attendance at all services will be limited to 20 people, throughout the three-week lockdown.
This means that the Glasgow HelpCentre’s programme for Sundays 22 and 29 November and for Sunday 6 December now includes services in English at 7.30am and 10am, plus the additional service in Portuguese at 12noon.
On Sunday afternoons there is an opportunity to share in ‘Breaking the Habit’ at 4pm, that is a service streamed from the UCKG’s headquarters in London, as well as the Bible Study at 6pm.
Monday to Friday, Pastor Fagner, who runs the HelpCentre in Glasgow will be welcoming members to the services at 6pm in Portuguese and 7.30pm in English. The Love Therapy meeting on Thursdays will be streamed from the UCKG’s headquarters at 8pm.
He said: “Because we are still a small congregation in a very active facility, I believe that we will be able to accommodate everyone who wants to come to the weekday services, without disruption while we are in tier four.”
The church is in full compliance with the rules on social distancing. Worshippers should expect to wear face coverings for the protection of the congregation and the community, and use the hand gel provided.
