John was a man born naturally— conceived by his parents and born from a woman. Undoubtedly, he was anointed with the anointing given since the time of Elijah but yet, still a man like you and I.

The Lord Jesus however, was different. Though He was also born from a woman, He was without sin from the beginning.

Humans are born with the label “sinner” from birth. Even though babies are born pure, by the time they reach a certain age, that innocence is somewhat contaminated by the world and now that they know the difference between evil and good (and more often than not, choose to do evil) they assume the “sinner” label and are in need of salvation.

Jesus was born exempt from this because He was never a sinner. He was as John stated in John 1:14—the Word incarnated.

“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”

The entire Word of God in flesh and blood— this is the Lord Jesus!

This same trait —when the Word of God becomes flesh in person; when you don’t just know the Bible, but are living it—is the only way to identify whether a person is a Christian or not.

Jesus was the fulfilment of the Word of God. The same must therefore also be true of those who call themselves by His name.

The Lord Jesus couldn’t have put it clearer: “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.” (John 15.7)

If you live/act in accordance with the Word of God, you gain the right to ask God for whatever you want and He is obligated to give it to you.

Jesus was victorious, successful and perfect because He was the Living Bible.

You may know the Bible like the back of your hand or can debate theologically and quote scripture impeccably, but unless this Word is true in your life, you are not a Christian. If you are the Word of God incarnated, you are different.

P.S. Meditate on Matthew 5.6-7 to understand the secrets of the Kingdom of God.

God bless you
