Christ, Christian, God, God bless you, Gospel of Matthew, Holy Spirit, Jesus, kinds of people, Law of Moses, Lord and Saviour, lost without salvation, New Testament, Psalms, Sin,
‘And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”’ (Luke 19:9-10)
“…For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God…” (Romans 3:23)
We are lost without salvation.
There are two kinds of people in the world: those who are saved, and those who are lost.
“Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me.” (Psalm 51:5)
If we were all born as sinners, how can we be saved? Should we accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour?
This is not the kind of invitation that the Holy Spirit is making, because it’s easy to lift up your hands and say that you accept Him.
So what should you do?
You first need to convert to God; to become affiliated with him. This means that you make a 180-degree turn in your life. If you were living a lifestyle that is sinful in Gods eyes— promiscuity, stealing, slandering etc.—you stop. It is difficult and it demands sacrifice, but the end result is worth it. Get a bible and get baptised, as you feel comfortable to do so. God bless you.

Good Evening Bishop, thank you for the message. I got a shock in the Fast of Daniel. I have believed for a long time that I was a child of God, however I soon realised that once I did not have the Holy Spirit, I was not a child of God. I cannot believe that this whole time I have been deceived. I started reading 'Are we all children of God?' I remember clearly turning to the next page and seeing if you are not born of God i.e have been baptised by the water and the Spirit, you are not a child of God. Those words stood out for me, I remember even calling my husband and asking him if he knew this. I also remember that everytime I read the word, the same words kept coming up 'You need to be born of the Spirit to enter into the Kingdom of God. At this point I was the second week of the Fast of Daniel... I started seeking harder Bishop because I knew what that meant for me. I could not accept to not have my salvation and not be born of God, I could not accept to not be a child of God, a disciple of God. I remember like it was yesterday, the night before the climbing of the altar, I prepared my vow, I read testimonies of others on Bishop Macedo's blog. I listened to Liberty radio at 10pm, I wrote a prayer. I said "My God when I climb onto your altar, when I enter into the sanctuary, take all of me because I want all of you. I said, I do not want to come down from the altar the same way I went up, not having your presence". On the day to present the vow, to climbed the altar, to enter into the sanctuary, I made one last prayer of the old me. A prayer of where I said to God, "My God if there is anything in me that is impeding your Spirit from entering into me, remove it all right now. Take everything, because I want to be submerged in your Spirit". As soon as my feet touched the altar, I knew. I knew Bishop. I had my encounter with God. It was like knowing that God was well pleased, I was approved. I was no longer living in denial, the deceit, the lie was gone. I now have the Holy Spirit :-).
