The festive season brings warmth and joy to many people. However, for countless families and individuals, this time of year also highlights various challenges and struggles. Rising living costs, energy price surges, and ongoing economic uncertainties have left many struggling to make ends meet, casting a shadow over what was supposed to be a time of celebration and togetherness.
If you are among those facing difficulties, it’s essential to know that you are not alone. At the Universal Church, we believe in standing together during times of need. That’s why we open our doors every Saturday to offer Soup Kitchen and Food Bank services to everyone, regardless of faith, background or circumstances.
Our Soup Kitchen provides warm and nourishing meals, offering not just food but also a sense of comfort and community. Alongside this, our Food Bank is stocked with essential items to help you get through tough weeks. Whether you need support or are simply looking for someone to talk to, our volunteers are here to listen and lend a hand, ensuring you leave with more than just supplies.
If you or someone you know could benefit from this support, we invite you to join us every Saturday from 11am to 1pm at one of the following locations:
Soup Kitchens: Finsbury Park, Catford, Nottingham, Leeds, Manchester, Peterborough, Glasgow, Hackney and Luton.
Food Banks: Plaistow, Edmonton, Stamford Hill, Croydon, Stratford, Tooting, Peckham, Sheffield, Lozells, Bullring, Newcastle, Hammersmith, Wood Green, Belfast, Liverpool and Kilburn.
